Devasitham Charitable Foundation is a mission with a great social vision and noble cause registered as a PUBLIC CHARITABLE AND SOCIAL WELFARE ORGANISATION, with the Government of Tamilnadu (REGN No:1131/09). The organisation aims at imparting value added education like spoken English, computer skills, social awareness programs, career counselling..etc, to the underpriviledged and poor students at almost free of cost and championing the cause of Inclusivity with Vision2020, Marathon , AAVADINGI and Inclusive Music. Our cause is to narrow down the job opportunities gap among the underpriviledged and poor students by empowering and enlightening them through its value added education programs and being a voice for Inclusivity especially for Children with special needs. This foundation has 28 different types of projects operating in three segments of 5 EDUHEIGHTS, Inclusivity Initiatives and Extended Arm. The uniqueness of this foundation is “RUN BY YOUTHS, FOR THE YOUTHS AND TO THE YOUTHS”. Selfless Leadership and spirit of volunteerism are the pillars of strength. This organization is certified with 12A, 80G.

My passion is helping young people especially children and their well being. I always have an unknown interest on other’s growth and success and feel responsible to give in returns to the society and to the world I live in. When I look back at my life it reminds me of the all the obstacles/hurdles I had to cross to reach the professional position in an MNC and also to envisage a foundation from a mere first generation graduate. This would have not been possible without a support for my education and especially to become proficient in English language skills. I believe that I have achieved considerably well in my life and now I realize that I need to make others feel that they too can turn their dreams into reality. This urge has not only driven me to be a volunteer but also helped me to envisage this as a mission with vision and inspired me to create this foundation which also results in soul satisfaction.

The Main objective of the foundation is to create a sustainable development by upholding the heritage of learning and providing facilities to the needy and poor to enrich their knowledge and to make substantial changes in young adults, youths and children and also for children with special needs
